Landscape Gardener

Location: Various Locations Across Perth - SOR and NOR
Rate :$40–$42 per hour + Super
Type : Monday to Friday - Full Time hours

Are you passionate about maintaining beautiful green spaces? Do you have experience in turf care, irrigation, or general parks maintenance?

We are currently recruiting for multiple Parks and Gardens roles, including:

• Parks Landscape Gardeners
• Turf Maintenance – Commercial Grounds & Sporting Complexes
• Irrigation Installers & Maintenance Officers

Your Key Responsibilities:

• General parks and gardens maintenance: mowing, edging, planting, pruning, and mulching
• Turf care and maintenance for commercial and sporting grounds
• Tree trimming and verge collection
• Irrigation installation, repair, and maintenance
• Spraying and weed control
• Safe operation of horticultural equipment (mowers, brush cutters, blowers, etc.)

What You’ll Need to Succeed:

• HR or MR Driver’s manual Licence (Essential)
• White Card
• Chainsaw certificate
• National Police Clearance (issued within the last 3 months)
• Chemical Handling Certificate
• Basic Traffic Management & Chainsaw Ticket (Desirable)
• Certificate II OR III in Horticulture or Parks & Gardens OR similar (Highly regarded)

Ideal Candidate Profile :

• Experience in gardening, landscaping, horticulture, or turf management
• Proficient with gardening tools and equipment such as brush cutter, hedger, pole saw, chain saw
• Good understanding of plant species and maintenance techniques
• Physically fit with a strong work ethic and attention to detail
• Able to work outdoors in various weather conditions
• Team player with good communication skills and safety awareness
